According to Webster’s dictionary: deception is the act of causing someone to accept as true or valid what is false or invalid. Deception is the act or practice of deceiving, lying, misleading, or otherwise hiding or distorting the truth. The related word, deceit, often means the same thing. Anything that involves intentionally misleading someone is deception. People can even engage in self-deception by avoiding the truth.
In this season of the covid pandemic, there is no doubt that the majority of people have bowed down to fear and deception. There is no doubt that the devil has taken over the hearts of the majority of people through fear and deception.
In this season of the covid pandemic, it seems that many have lost hope and they don’t know what the future holds for them. Some are thinking as if God has forsaken them but the truth is that God has never forsaken anybody.
Hopelessness can be seen in many people whether among Christians or non-Christians. Both groups of people are living as if there is no God to help them. Hopelessness is the order of the day for many people.
Some Christians are acting like their antennas are not pointing to God; it is like they have lost their signal. But if there is hope for a tree when it has fallen, what more with children of God.
For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease (Job 14:7 KJV)
The author of fear and deception
God advises us not to fear anything because He will protect us in times of trouble. He is a loving father who doesn’t use fear or deception to trick his children. He gave us free will to choose. He is love and love is His nature.
The devil uses fear and deception to put the people in bondage, and it is his trademark of oppressing mankind. You cannot talk about deception without talking of the devil. The devil and his agents, the globalists, are winning the battle using fear and deception.
Before I go far let me show the truth from the Bible about the devil, the father of lies and deceptions.
Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? (Genesis 3:1 KJV)
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it (John 8:44 KJV)
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10 KJV)
Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God, day and night. (Revelation 12:10 KJV)
Why then do people believe in the devil’s lies?
Here are some of the reasons why some people are in bondage
Poverty
The one who controls your finances has power over you. When someone is rich, he oftentimes has the power to control what is going on around him.
The globalists are powerful because they have money and are able to control the world. One example is Bill Gates, he has influence in many industries i.e., the food industry, pharmaceuticals, the computer world, and the Healthy sector; even in UN agencies, he has a voice and nobody can silence him.
With his Bill & Melinda Foundation, he owns a lot of shares in different organizations
He with other individuals or foundations like Rockefeller, World Economic Forum (WEF) globalist Klaus Schwab, UN Chief (and socialist leader) Antonio Guterres and IMF leader Kristalina Georgieva, Jeff Bezos just to mention a few have voices that cannot be challenged by anybody in the world.
He is the brain behind ID2020, which will be materialized soon or later. The coming of the COVID-19 vaccine, the ID2020, is likely to come into effect with our eyes open.
A person with a few million cannot affect the whole world. The majority of people are being controlled because they are poor. With the globalists’ money and capacity, they can control the world and they are controlling the leaders of the nations.
Even the Bible teaches us that money is defense, (Ecclesiastes 7:12). With it, they are able to control the leaders of the nations.
Believing in mainstream media
The devil has a mouth to spread his deception. He knows the power of media in disseminating his lies. He controls the airwaves, social media, print media, etc.
Please, find out who owns CNN, BBC, Washington Post, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, just to mention a few. You will find that globalists are owners of these media platforms. These channels will make sure to promote the lies from the devil.
The truth is that most of our local media houses just copy and paste from international media. They don’t research and don’t accept any contrary views to what they have heard from the international media. To them, anything from these media houses is gospel truth.
Some of these organizations are helping in suppressing the truth. For example, you cannot hear any negative news about the Covid-19 vaccines. Facebook was not allowing any person to post about Wuhan, the origin of Covid-19. But the truth has come out, and they have failed to suppress it.
You cannot get the whole truth of the matter if you are just trusting one source. Go for personal research from several sources if you want to know the truth.
Some of these media houses are mouthpieces of the devil promoting his agenda through his lies and deception. They make sure they tarnish the image of those who are saying the truth.
The government, and both local and international media, will always portray that the unvaccinated are the ones spreading the virus. But the truth of the matter is that vaccinated people are the ones dying and spreading the virus.
Fear of the future
With the news they are hearing from the media, the majority have painted a hopeless future. They are fearing what the future holds for them.
Fear has put many people in bondage but God says fear not. Why fear when God says he has a great plan for you. Why fear when He says I will be with you always.
Fear of the future is anticipatory anxiety. It’s excessive worry about potential future events. People with anticipatory anxiety often experience panic attacks. The best way to define anticipatory anxiety is that it is the anxiety of “what if?
Fear of the Future is increasing nowadays as people succumb to the pressures of being vaccinated because they don’t want to lose their jobs or what will happen if they are not vaccinated. The ‘unknown’ future can, for many individuals, create fear.
This type of fear can start to control lives and people can become too scared to take the pathways they really want to in life for fear of the risks involved or the uncertainty and outcomes associated with change.
Fear of the future makes a person make unpleasant decisions because he is unstable as water. Instead of worrying about the future, let our faith be in the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Forsaking the truth of God
When the truth of the word of God is forsaken people start believing in the lies of the devil. Deception becomes the order of the day. People start believing in everything that they feel it’s good without cross-checking with the word of God.
God wants us to live and walk in His word; His word is the answer to our problems. He said that He will never leave us nor forsake us. He continued saying that we should cast our troubles to Him because He cares for us.
Forsaking the word of God invites fear in our life because according to the word of God, believers are not born with the spirit of fear but of love, sound mind, and power. Fearing what Covid-19 will do to you is to show a lack of trust in God and is to glorify Satan.
Forsaking the word of God is to deny Holy Spirit to be the guide. If the Holy Spirit is not the guide, then the devil uses his tactics and tricks on us.
God wants us to live fearless lives and some Bible scholars believe that there are three hundred sixty-five fear-not references in the Bible. This is to show that fear is out in our day-to-day lives.
Protecting their jobs
In the era of the pandemic, some people around the world are receiving COVID-19 vaccines just to keep their jobs. A lot of people do understand that some have lost their lives because of the vaccine. The truth is that the vaccine is killing more people than Covid-19 itself but yet people are forced or willingly get jabbed just to keep their jobs.
I have read cases where some people are quitting their jobs because they know the danger of being jabbed. Some people prefer to quit their jobs when they feel that they are being forced to get the covid vaccine against their choice.
If you put your trust in your job and not in God, you may end up gaining the whole world and losing your soul. You are going to dance to the tunes of the globalists or leftists.
Remember, the words of Jesus Christ, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” He said if you walk into the fire, He will be with you.
- Because their leaders say so
If you think your leaders are ignorant of what is going on around the world, then you are fooling yourself. They know what is going on, and some of them their hands are bound because there is a big hand controlling them.
The worst mistake that one can make is to believe whatever his/her leaders are saying to be gospel truth. They are happy to make decisions based on what their sponsors are saying without thinking of the consequences.
I remember reading what my minister of health and the chairperson of covid 19 task force, encouraging parents to take their children vaccinations. She did try to sweet talk just to convince people to go for vaccination.
It seems like some people in authority especially political leaders are working for some globalists, or they are working under pressure to achieve their master’s agenda. It looks like they will do anything for money.
- Being brainwashed
To be brainwashed means to make someone adopt radically different beliefs by using systematic and often forcible pressure. Some people are living in deception because of wrong information from the media, especially social media platforms. Others have forsaken the truth and they are believing the lies from the media without verifying the facts with necessary authorities.
The truth is that these media houses and those in authority speak the same language most of the time, and one can easily believe what they say without checking if it is the absolute truth. Each person has the right to take responsibility for their lives and to choose what they want to be part of.
If you have been brainwashed, it means you have forsaken seeking information on that particular topic. It means somebody has taken advantage of your ignorance to feed you what he wants. It is giving control of yourself to somebody.
- Ignorance
Reggae Musician late Bob Marley said ignorance is the only weapon to oppress the poor.
Ignorance breeds fear because you avoid searching for the knowledge you become fearful and you start believing in lies. Prophet Hosea said if you reject knowledge, God will reject you.
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children (Hosea 4:6 KJV)
Today the globalists and leftists are trying their best to keep people in constant fear because some people have chosen to believe their lies. It seems that some people don’t want to look for knowledge, and they prefer ignorance.
Ignorance is not an excuse in the court of law. I don’t know what the thought pattern is for some people who ignore knowledge. Ignorance is not helpful; it is better to know the truth and act accordingly.
To summarize, many are trapped in the deception of the devil and by his agents because of their making. They don’t want to take responsibility for their lives. I urge you to take responsibility and search for the truth on issues that affect your life; don’t just believe in everything you are told.
