Habits That Make You More Attractive

Daily loving, self-care is a habit that can make you more attractive to others. There are many ways to treat yourself right that can make a visible difference on the outside as well as how wonderful you’ll feel on the inside. Prioritizing self before others can feel selfish, but it is vital for your health, well-being and wholeheartedness. Your self-confidence is attractive to others so nourishing this inner resource is important.

Let’s look at 10 daily habits that make you more attractive. When we think of attractiveness, we usually think of things that affect our physical appearance. However, not all attractiveness is external. Being attractive emotionally, spiritually and mentally is just as important for finding the right mate.

1. CONNECT WITH PEOPLE DEEPLY

We are attracted to people like us, and we also find likeable people attractive. Being likeable is easy; be more interested in hearing about the other person than you are in telling about yourself. Ask probing questions to understand the background behind people’s actions, preferences, and stories. What is this person like when they are at home alone? What are their fears and dreams?

2. TREAT FRIENDSHIPS AS A PRIORITY

Friends don’t let friendships grow apart. By nourishing your friendships, you practice the skills necessary to sustain a happy romantic relationship as well. Friends make you smile and smiling is always an attractive habit.

3. LIVE IN THE PRESENT MOMENT

In a study of attractiveness in a speed-dating situation, women found men more attractive if they measured higher in mindfulness . This appears to only go one way for the sexes as men in the study did not find mindful women to be more attractive. Mindfulness is peaceful self-awareness. It is the knowledge that in the present moment, everything is just as it should be. Mindfulness is attractive because we shift focus away from anxiety or depression while we focus on the now. Mindful people tend to be more emotionally balanced.

4. MOVE YOUR BODY

Obviously physical exercise keeps a body in shape, and healthy bodies are more attractive than unhealthy ones. This is especially true of males and females who are looking for healthy partners with whom they hope to raise a family. When we think of someone who is attractive, they almost always possess grace in their movements. Balance and stretching, as well as mindful movements will help you to present yourself as an attractive partner.

5. NOURISH YOURSELF WITH EXCELLENT FOOD.

Nourishing your insides helps nourish your skin. Radiant skin is always attractive and beauty starts from the inside. Think about a potential mate watching you as you eat. Would your potential mate be more attracted to you if they saw you eating some greasy fast food or dining on a gourmet vegan meal that you had made yourself?

6. KNOW YOUR SELF WORTH

Be sure of your value. Be confident in the fact that you are intrinsically valuable as a human being and more so because of your character, intelligence and kind actions. It’s been said before that confidence is sexy, and self-love is the best way to build self-confidence. Project your value with your head held high. Meet the gaze of others directly and say to yourself ‘I would make a great catch for the partner who is worthy of me.’ Be careful not cross the line into arrogance. Aim for an attitude of self-assurance.

7. HAVE EXCELLENT SLEEP HABITS Sleep ensures that our bodies are able to replenish their depleted resources. Making a habit of getting good rest also means that you’ll look better physically; your skin looks healthy and your eyes are bright. Mentally, well-rested people are better able to cope with stress and less likely to fail to manage their emotions. Good sleep is a good self-care habit that can also make you more attractive to your potential mate.

8. MAKE IT A HABIT TO HAVE DOWN TIME

Self-care includes some time with no stress or concerns. Make sure to release stress by enjoying plenty of down time. Again, visualize your ideal mate watching you as you relax. Choose an activity that feeds your soul like mindfulness meditation, yoga, or reading.

9. FORGIVE AND LEARN FROM MISTAKES

Self-improvement means constantly learning. Studies that question males and females about desirable traits in a mate show that ‘psychological traits are important in human mating, with both sexes valuing intelligence and kindness very highly.’ Intelligence doesn’t have to mean that you have a degree. You can demonstrate intelligence to a potential mate by learning from mistakes and handling it well when you make one. You can demonstrate self-kindness by forgiving yourself for making a mistake in the first place, then, show what you’ve learned by avoiding the mistake in the future.

10. TAKE IMMENSE PLEASURE IN SIMPLE THINGS.

In every moment you have a choice to be happy or to be angry/sad/afraid. Choose joy and gratitude no matter the situation. This moment and the smile on your face could lead you to find the mate that’s right for you and who has their own matching inner and outer attractiveness.

Gary Neville says Man. United won’t win the Premier League despite Cristiano Ronaldo’s return

Manchester United legend, Gary Neville has claimed that the club won’t win the Premier League despite Cristiano Ronaldo’s return.

According to the former defender, United have plenty of individual quality but there is an unclear style of play and little to no cohesion that is required to win the Premier League.

‘I said it even when they were winning, even when [Cristiano] Ronaldo scored, they don’t play well enough as a team to win this league in my view. They don’t play well enough as a team,’ Neville said on his Sky Sports podcast.

‘I think you have to be a unit in and out of possession, and when you only deliver in moments, those moments won’t go for you in certain games.

United, who haven’t won the league title since 2012-13, made some additional signings during  the summer transfer market. Jadon Sancho was brought in for £73million before Raphael Varane from Real Madrid and Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus.

Neville believes that the high-profile arrivals have played a role in the current lack of cohesiveness.

He added: ‘You need patterns of play, you need a way of playing, and at this moment in time I still see a group of individuals playing in moments, with some patterns and combinations at times, but still a team where some are pretty new together – Cristiano Ronaldo, Raphael Varane, Jadon Sancho – but they’ve got to come together as a team and start to define a style of play. Then you start to get results when you don’t play well.

‘I have called them the odd bunch, because I still look at them and think of them as a team who win games in moments.

‘I look at Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City, they are teams. They put team performances in. That’s not to say United never do, but Ole now has to get United into a team.’

Nevile’s assement comes after a late penalty miss from Bruno Fernandes on Saturday made United suffer a 1-0 defeat at Old Trafford against Aston Villa for their first league loss of the season.

Singer R Kelly refuses to testify in sex trafficking trial

Singer R Kelly refuses to testify in sex trafficking trial

Disgraced R&B singer, R. Kelly told a judge on Wednesday September 22, that he will not testify in his own defense at his federal sex trafficking trial to avoid avoid the risk of a potentially brutal cross-examination.

‘You don’t want to testify, correct?’ US District Judge Ann Connelly asked the singer. He laconically responded: ‘Yes, ma’am.’

When asked by the judge if he understood the implications of his decision, he replied: ‘correct.’ Lawyers had already said Kelly was unlikely to take the witness stand.

During the closing arguments on Wednesday afternoon, a prosecutor told jurors that the government had delivered on its promises to prove that the R&B singer had for years commanded close associates to help him target, groom and exploit girls, boys, and young women for his own sexual gratification.

Assistant US Attorney Elizabeth Geddes insisted that the trial ‘showed he did just that.’

She said that Kelly got away with sexually abusing his victims by surrounding himself with a team which he strictly controlled. She described the assistants, drivers, bodyguards and others Kelly employed as a criminal enterprise that resulted in the federal racketeering charges brought against him.

‘The defendant set rules, lots of them, and he demanded complete obedience,’ she explained. That meant ‘for many years what happened in the defendant´s world stayed in the defendant´s world. But no longer.’

Jurors could begin deliberating as early as Thursday. Kelly, 54, faces a life sentence, if convicted as charged.

The brief defense case has relied on just a handful of former Kelly employees and other associates who agreed to take the stand over the course of two days to try to discredit allegations that he sexually abused women, girls and boys during a 30-year musical career.

Most of the defense witnesses said they never saw Kelly abuse anyone. One went as far to say Kelly was ‘chivalrous’ to his girlfriends. Another admitted he owed Kelly for his break in music business and wanted to see him beat the case.

The defense’s fifth and final witness, music industry executive Julius Darrington, testified for 15 minutes on Wednesday. He said he spent 10- to 12-hours a day with Kelly ‘every day, almost,’ from 2016 until 2019, when Kelly was taken into custody.

Darrington said he never saw women being locked in rooms, heard screaming or crying, or saw Kelly strike anyone, which other witnesses have said took place.

On cross-examination, prosecutor Elizabeth Geddes tried to emphasize how Darrington was not monitoring Kelly around the clock.

‘You have no knowledge of what the defendant did behind closed doors when you weren’t there, correct?’ she asked. ‘Correct,’ Darrington responded.

Darrington consulted on Kelly’s final music project attempt, which failed.

The first witness to testify was Kelly’s childhood friend and former Chicago police officer, Larry Hood.

Hood began by claiming that he never saw Kelly engaging with underage girls but then admitted that he was present when the musician met Aaliyah for the first time.

Aaliyah is the youngest of Kelly’s alleged victims. She is believed to be 13 or 14 when Kelly began having sex with her in 1993 and 15 when he forged documents to marry her illegally.

She died in 2001 at the age of 22 in a plane crash in the Bahamas.

He testified that he never witnessed Kelly acting inappropriately.  ‘As a police officer, I would have had to take action against that,’ Hood said. ‘I never had to take any action. I was never made aware of any wrongdoing.’

But he later shared that Kelly surrounded himself with girls specifically mentioning ‘little Aaliyah’s little hype girls’ saying ‘I wasn’t checking IDs at the studio.’

He claimed that it was ‘later in life’ that he learned of Kelly’s illegal marriage to the underage girl.

The defense also called Dhanai Ramnanan to the stand. Ramnanan testified that Kelly was ‘like a mentor to me and a good friend.’ The aspiring musician said he worked with Kelly for 15 years sporadically and never witnessed Kelly mistreating women.

‘Whenever we’d go to a restaurant, they’d sit down first, they’d order first, they got to eat first,’ he said Kelly’s girlfriends. ‘I mean, chivalry, basically.’

He insisted that he did not ever witness Kelly verbally or physically abuse women, or prohibit them from eating or using the restroom all of which he has been accused of during the trial.

By contrast, prosecutors have called 45 witnesses since the trial began in federal court in Brooklyn on August 18. They included several female and two male accusers to back up allegations that Kelly used a cadre of managers, bodyguards and assistants to systematically recruit potential victims at his shows, malls and fast-food restaurants where he hung out.

The accusers testified that once they were in Kelly’s orbit, he groomed them for unwanted sex and psychological torment – mostly when they were teenagers – in episodes dating to the 1990s.

The accusers’ searing accounts were supported at least in part by other former Kelly employees whose own testimony suggested they were essentially paid off to look the other way or enable the recording artist.

The defendant, born Robert Sylvester Kelly, has pleaded not guilty to racketeering charges. He’s also charged with that multiple violations of the Mann Act, an interstate anti-sex trafficking law which makes it illegal to transport anyone across state lines ‘for any immoral purpose.’

Kelly has also been accused of knowingly spreading herpes to several of his victims, which is a crime in some states.

He has vehemently denied the allegations, claiming that the accusers were groupies who wanted to take advantage of his fame and fortune until the #MeToo movement turned them against him.

Despite decades of sexual misconduct accusations, the New York case is only the second to result in a criminal trial. He was previously acquitted of a child pornography charge.

Kelly also faces separate criminal charges in federal court in Chicago, and state charges in Illinois and Minnesota.

Beware of ungodly songs – Apostle Johnson Suleman

EXPOSING MUSIC AND THE ILLUMINATI…

Some of us have to be careful. Somebody comes out and sings a song that doesn’t make sense and people are singing it. Some people think that to be a good gospel music artist, you must follow the way of the world. .

Who says pure gospel songs don’t sell? Sinach is one of the most researched singers, she has over a hundred million views on her video going around the world. It is the presence of God on music that makes it go far.

The music of Charles Finney, the music of great people, till today is still relevant. “Trust and obey” hymn is over 100 years old, but anytime we lift up our hands and sing it, there is a presence it commands. “Amazing Grace” is over a century old, but whenever we release it, there is an anointing. “Just as I am” is equally old, but by the time we sing it, there is a power that comes.

Some of those songs were sung in the 18th century. A hundred-plus years later, when we take the hymns we still lift up hands in surrender. Ask God to give you music (as an artist). What makes you an artist that stands out is the divine presence.

Every gospel artist should ask God for a song. As you ask God, be patient. A lady said to me that she was in music ministry for 30 years before her voice was heard. You have to be patient.

There are strange spirits that have entered into people’s houses because of the useless music they play. There are strange spirits that have fired certain kinds of stupid thoughts that have weakened the fabrics of your defenses because of the music you have heard. It has weakened your resolve and discipline.

All your resolve about life, the philosophy of that music has weakened it. It has made you believe certain things about life. Music moves people emotionally. There is a man in the American music industry who was a big guy in the music industry. They asked him how he succeeded, he said what they do was that when they do their song, his record label would ask for the raw files, collect it and after about a month, would give them back and tell them once they mass-dub, he should bring it again.

They will take two or three and release it, he said in less than a few weeks the hit will be explosive. When he became a believer, he started investigating and discovered that when they collected those raw files, they took them to an Illuminati altar, dedicating them to strange gods.

Illuminati is a devilish organization. They can give money or fame but take your soul. Many world leaders today are in Illuminati. He said what happened after the dedication is that the song will start spreading fast. In less than a month old and it is all over the place. It comes on people like a frenzy, like a spirit, and you will see everybody following it because it is spiritually controlled.

Any song that does not glorify or honor God, don’t sing it, don’t listen to it. Guard your spirit; guard your heart because this heart is like a tape recorder, anything that comes in is processed.

There are songs that took people’s lives (inspired people to kill or commit suicide). Examples:

1. Triumph of death – 1984

2. Call from the grave

3. Night blood

4. Lucifer rising

5. Christians to the bone. This one sounds nice, but when they display the pictures, it displays rituals.

Satan was in charge of the music office in Heaven, since God casted him to the earth he is now using the office to destroy lives.

Kenyan high court judge declares being housewife a full-time payable job

A Kenyan High Court judge, Teresia Matheka has reportedly declared being a housewife a fulltime job that should attract some form of compensation.

The judge who was presiding over a matrimonial property dispute, said that it is unfair for courts to rule that housewives do not contribute anything to the financial progress of the family.

The complainant is said to be a divorced lady who sought to have their family property sold and the money shared equally between her and her ex-husband.

The Judge stated that housewives should not say they don’t work since they provide services in the home that are otherwise outsourced and paid for. She added that it is unfair to only rely on seen income and the mindset that one has to contribute money to the marriage to find value.

 Matheka said;

“It is easy for the spouse working away from home and sending money to lay claim to the whole property purchased and developed with that money by the spouse staying at home and taking care of the children and the family. That spouse will be heard to say that the other one was not employed so they contributed nothing.

“Raising children is a full-time job that families pay a person to do. Cooking and cleaning as well. Hence, for a woman in employment who has to balance childbearing and rearing this contribution must be considered.”

The judge also urged her counterparts to consider the 9 months of pregnancy when presiding over cases of matrimonial disputes. She opined that carrying a pregnancy is equivalent to working, noting that some couples have lately resorted to hiring surrogate mothers to bear children for them.

Passing judgement on the case brought before her, Matheka ruled that the property be sold and money shared equally, or one of the spouses buy out the other party by paying half the value of the property that the party is entitled to.

Man who poos out of penis and ejaculates semen from bum seeks medical help

Man who poos out of penis and ejaculates semen from bum seeks medical help

A man has sought medical help after he started ejaculating a “substantial amount” of semen from his bum and defecated through his penis.

The 33-year-old had suffered from a series of bizarre medical issues for two years. Not only was he pooing through his penis and ejaculating from his bum, but he was also passing gas in his urine, a condition termed pneumaturia, IFL Science reports.

He also urinated fecal matter, called fecaluria, and passed a “substantial amount” of urine and semen from his rectum.

He eventually got help after his testicles swelled up and the pain became too much.

The team that solved his conditions have published their findings in the journal Cureus.

He was found to have a swollen testicle and a urinary tract infection, while a digital rectal exam showed signs of a problem on his rectal wall.

A CT scan produced a much better look at the multiple problems.

The report says there was a “gas-filled structure”.

Further tests confirmed the presence of a fistula, or abnormal passageway, between the urethra and rectum, through which the various fluids and solids had been passing.

The issue was sorted with surgery, but the medical team continued to check for other errors.

Two years earlier, he had been in a three-week coma following cocaine and phencyclidine (PCP) intoxication.

At the time, he was fitted with a Foley catheter during which the injury was likely caused.

The team was led by Frank L. Ventura, a medical student at Internal Medicine, University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.

They wrote: “Repeat VCUG revealed resolution of the fistula and the patient recovered with only mildly reduced antegrade ejaculatory volume over several months.”

They added: “Physicians should note other potential risks such as urethral injuries.

“This case not only highlights a rare complication of catheter use but also emphasizes the importance of provider mindfulness when utilizing seemingly benign therapies such as Foley catheters.”

Bill Gates and Steve Jobs Raised Their Kids Tech-Free — and It Should’ve Been a Red Flag

Gates recognizes technology as useful for a student’s development, not as entertainment.

Psychologists are quickly learning how dangerous smartphones can be for teenage brains.

Steve Jobs

Research has found that an eighth-grader’s risk for depression jumps 27 percent when he or she frequently uses social media. Kids who use their phones for at least three hours a day are much more likely to be suicidal. And recent research has found the teen suicide rate in the U.S. now eclipses the homicide rate, with smartphones as the driving force.

But the writing about smartphone risk may have been on the wall for roughly a decade, according to educators Joe Clement and Matt Miles, co-authors of the recent book Screen Schooled: Two Veteran Teachers Expose How Technology Overuse is Making Our Kids Dumber.

It should be telling, Clement and Miles argue, that the two biggest tech figures in recent history — Bill Gates and Steve Jobs — seldom let their kids play with the very products they helped create.

“What is it these wealthy tech executives know about their own products that their consumers don’t?” the authors wrote. The answer, according to a growing body of evidence, is the addictive power of digital technology.

“We limit how much technology our kids use at home.”

In 2007, Gates, the former CEO of Microsoft, implemented a cap on screen time when his daughter started developing an unhealthy attachment to a video game. He also didn’t let his kids get cell phones until they turned 14. (Today, the average age for a child getting their first phone is 10.)

Bill Gates wouldn’t allow his children to have cell phones until they turned 14, fearing the effects of too much screen time.

Jobs, who was the CEO of Apple until his death in 2012, revealed in a 2011 New York Times interview that he prohibited his kids from using the newly-released iPad. “We limit how much technology our kids use at home,” Jobs told reporter Nick Bilton.

In Screen Schooled, Clement and Miles make the case that wealthy Silicon Valley parents seem to grasp the addictive powers of smartphones, tablets and computers more than the general public does — despite the fact that these parents often make a living by creating and investing in that technology.

“It’s interesting to think that in a modern public school, where kids are being required to use electronic devices like iPads,” the authors wrote, “Steve Jobs’s kids would be some of the only kids opted out.”

Jobs’s children have finished school, so it’s impossible to know how the late Apple co-founder would have responded to education technology, or “edtech.” But Clement and Miles suggest that if Jobs’s kids had attended the average U.S. school today, they’d have used tech in the classroom far more than they did at home while growing up.

That’s at the average school at least, according to the co-authors. A number of specialty Silicon Valley schools, such as the Waldorf School, are noticeably low-tech. They use chalkboards and No. 2 pencils. Instead of learning how to code, kids are taught the soft skills of cooperation and respect. At Brightworks School, kids learn creativity by building things and attending classes in treehouses.

Edtech won’t be a “cure-all.”

If there is any concession Gates has made on technology, it’s in the benefits it offers students in certain educational settings. In the years since Gates implemented his household policy, the billionaire philanthropist has taken a keen interest in personalized education, an approach that uses electronic devices to help tailor lesson plans for each student.

In a recent blog post, Gates celebrated Summit Sierra, a Seattle-based school that takes students’ personal goals — like getting into a specific college — and devises a path to get there. Teachers in personalized learning settings take on more of a coaching role, helping to nudge students back on track when they get stuck or distracted.

Technology in these cases is being used as specifically as possible — and in ways Gates recognizes as useful for a student’s development, not as entertainment. “Personalized learning won’t be a cure-all,” he wrote. But Gates said he’s “hopeful that this approach could help many more young people make the most of their talents

Medical board revoke license of medical doctor who said mask-wearing can lead to carbon monoxide poisoning

Medical board revoke license of medical doctor who said mask-wearing can lead to carbon monoxide poisoning

The medical license of an Oregon doctor who falsely claimed that wearing masks can lead to carbon monoxide poisoning, has been revoked.

Steven Arthur LaTulippe who is no longer allowed to practice, according to records from the Oregon Medical Board, was found to have engaged in “8 instances of unprofessional or dishonorable conduct, 22 instances of negligence in the practice of medicine, and 5 instances of gross negligence in the practice of medicine.” He was also fined $10,000.

Newsweek reported that LaTulippe’s license was first suspended last December and then upheld after the board found he operated in a way that constituted an “immediate danger” to the public and presented a “serious danger” to public health and safety.

Records revealed that the suspended doctor never asked patients whether they had been in close contact with someone who exhibited COVID-19 symptoms or tested positive for the disease. LaTulippe had also asked his receptionist to screen individuals for COVID-19 by looking at the patient’s facial expression rather than asking common screening questions.

He “had trained his receptionist ‘to look at [the patient] and just take a look at them and see if they look sick,’ and, if the patient was ‘smiling and happy,’ the receptionist was instructed to ask how the patient was feeling,” medical records say.

“If the patient indicated that they ‘felt fine’ and they were ‘not ill,’ the receptionist would direct the patient to sit in the waiting area” before heading to an examination room.

Neither LaTulippe nor his wife who both practiced family health and ran South View Medical Arts clinic together, wore a mask between March 2020 and December 2020 while treating patients, the investigation says. It was also learnt that LaTulippe told patients they didn’t have to wear a mask in the clinic unless they were “actively ill, coughing, [or] congested.”

Additionally, LaTulippe told elderly and pediatric patients that mask-wearing was “very dangerous” for them because they can exacerbate asthma or “cause or contribute to multiple serious health conditions” like strokes, collapsed lungs, and pneumonia. He also claimed that mask-wearing would lead to carbon monoxide poisoning.

LaTulippe also believed he’s been “a strong asset to the public in educating them on the real facts about this pandemic”.

When asked if he would like to follo COVID-19 protocols like mask-wearing when his license was first suspended in 2020, LaTulippe said no.

The report added;

“In a choice between losing his medical license versus wearing a mask in his clinic and requiring his patients and staff to wear a mask in his clinic, he will, ‘choose to sacrifice my medical license with no hesitation.

“His decision to flout COVID-19 guidelines like mask-wearing was irresponsible and actively promoted transmission of the COVID-19 virus within the extended community.”

Why didn’t Steve Jobs let his kids use iPads?

It’s not just the founder of Apple who thinks that having too much technology at home is harmful.

How addicted are you to your cell phone? How much time do you spend in front of a screen? Would you let your children do the same? Steve Jobs thought it was not a good idea, so he did not let his children use iPads and iPhones, generally technology.Depositphotos

In 2010, a New York Times reporter had a conversation that revealed a lot about the life of the founder of Apple. Nick Bilton commented, “Your kids must love the iPad, right?” After the launch of the device. Jobs replied, “They haven’t used it. We limit the amount of technology our children use at home. “

Any special reason? According to Walter Isaacson, the author of the Steve Jobs biography, the family focused more on history or reading, as well as activities that had to do with technology. Walter interacted with the Jobs and explained:

“Every night Steve insisted on dining at the big kitchen table, talking about books, history and a variety of other things. Nobody ever took out an iPad or a computer. The kids didn’t seem addicted to the devices. “

It’s not the only one

A large number of CEOs and prominent figures of Silicon Valley companies significantly reduce the time their children spend in contact with technology.

For example, Bill Gates did not give his children cell phones until they were 14 years old. In addition, its use was prohibited during lunch, dinner and before sleeping.

The recommendation of the American Academy of Pediatrics is to limit technology according to the age of the children, since there is a great fear that the use of the devices will become compulsive and uncontrolled.

According to the authors of the book ‘Screen Schooled’ , and several former employees of technology companies, when it is used compulsively, it ends creativity and limits social relationships.

What do they know that we don’t?

They are not few, indeed many people who have or had to do with technological development restrict it at home. A former Google executive, Tristan Harris , even warned of the “tricks” that websites like Facebook or YouTube use to hold our attention without us noticing.

In 2020, the Netflix documentary ‘The Social Media Dilemma’ was released. This caused a great furor by revealing to the voice of former employees of the industry, how social networks work and make us “addicted”.

There is a phrase that stands out in the film: “There are two industries that call their customers users: illegal drugs and software .” It seems Steve Jobs saw this coming.

The film describes the addiction and negative impacts of social networks in our daily life, which is closely linked to the devices with which we interact. In addition, thanks to the testimonials he explains how they literally play with our emotions and behaviors.

What are the risks?

Various studies indicate that addiction to screens leads to problems with concentration, vision, sleep, low tolerance for frustration and, in some cases, low self-esteem.

Hospital Pauses Baby Deliveries as Workers Quit Over COVID Vaccines

Hospital Pauses Baby Deliveries as Workers Quit Over COVID Vaccines

Sept. 13, 2021 — Lewis County Health System in upstate New York announced Friday that it will pause maternity and delivery services this month due to staffing shortages after some employees quit rather than get a COVID-19 vaccine.

The health system is seeing employee resignations due to the state’s vaccine mandate, and some essential services are at risk, according to NBC News. The maternity unit already has a shortage, with six people resigning so far, while seven others have said they’re unwilling to get vaccinated.

“We are unable to safely staff the service after Sept. 24,” Gerald Cayer, CEO of the health system, said during a news conference.

“The number of resignations received leaves us no choice but to pause delivering babies at Lewis County General Hospital,” he said.

Under a statewide vaccine mandate in New York, the deadline for health care workers to receive the first vaccine dose is Sept. 27. Medical exemptions are being granted for those who are allergic to vaccines or have had previous adverse reactions. New York hasn’t allowed for religious exemptions for health care workers since a measles outbreak in 2019.

Among the hospital system’s staff, 464 people — or about 73% — have been vaccinated, NBC News reported. The remaining 165 have not.

As of Friday, 30 employees had resigned. Among those, 21 resignations came from staff members in clinical services. Hospital administrators are working on “contingency plans” in case additional resignations put other services at risk, Cayer said. That could include reassigning nurses from administrative roles to clinical roles.

“We must develop contingency plans for services we believe are at risk,” he said. “We can’t wait to the last minute. We have not been given much time, and it is a hard deadline before us.”

Cayer said he “unequivocally” supports the vaccination mandate for health care workers, which he said ensures a “healthy workforce.” He noted that COVID-19 cases were increasing in Lewis County, which had the highest 7-day and 14-day positivity rates in New York in recent days.

“We as employees have an obligation not to put those we care for or our co-workers at risk,” he said.

WHO gives date for the end of the Covid pandemic, but Bill Gates says he has the ‘only solution’ to end the crisis

While the World Health Organization (WHO) already has an estimated date for the end of the pandemic, a study by the Bill Gates foundation indicates that there is only one solution for this and other health crises.

Many have speculated about when the Covid-19 health crisis that has the world in check since 2020 will end. Now, the World Health Organization (WHO) gave an estimated date for the end of the pandemic . However, billionaire Bill Gates proposed what he considers the ‘only solution’ to end the coronavirus and future pandemics.

María Neira , director of the   Department of Public Health,   Environment and Climate Change of the WHO , said that the Covid-19 pandemic could be controlled as long as the immunization of countries with low vaccine coverage is achieved. That could happen in March 2022 , according to statements for the Spanish broadcaster RAC1.

“Two years is a period that we set ourselves and it will surely be a reasonable time. If we begin to vaccinate at the speed we have had so far, we could see, even earlier, the way out of this tremendous situation, “said Neira.

The specialist commented that the low availability of vaccines in some countries is worrying. Neira said that ” we all have to get out of the pandemic together”, something in which Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus , director of the WHO , agrees.

“The shocking inequality in the global distribution of vaccines is a stain on our collective conscience ,” said the director of the organization, adding that the challenge is not only to return to normality, but also to learn from the crisis .

“I believe that the end is beginning to be more and more present, but when we come out of the pandemic we must take advantage to be better and not forget these lessons,” said Tedros Adhanom.

And the third dose?

On a third dose of the vaccine, the WHO considers that, for now, it is only required by patients whose immune system is compromised . The rest of the people, they point out, can wait until most of the world’s population is immunized with at least a first dose.

“The third dose, for now, can be postponed until we have more scientific evidence [that it is necessary] and 40% of the world population can have a first dose,” Neira explained.

Bill Gates has other data and proposes the ‘only solution’ to the coronavirus

Microsoft’s billionaire founder Bill Gates has distinguished himself in recent months by making various predictions around the SARS-CoV-2 virus . He even said that the pandemic would already be under control by March 2021 , something that obviously did not happen.

In a report published last Monday by the Gates Foundation , the tycoon reiterated that “the end has not yet come” and ventured to propose a solution to this pandemic and those to come.

“The only real solution to this problem is to have factories that can produce enough doses of vaccines for everyone in 100 days. It is feasible,” Gates said.

In this sense, Gates assures that “the most vulnerable have been the most affected and will probably be the slowest to recover .”

This statement is confirmed by the WHO data, since just last September 14 its director indicated that, of the total vaccines administered worldwide, Africa has only received 2% .

As for economic recovery , the report details that it is “uneven” between and within countries. As a result, 700 million people in low- and middle-income countries are expected to fall into extreme poverty by 2030. In addition, recovery is expected to be much slower in Latin America, sub-Saharan Africa, Central Asia and the Middle East.

The damage count and the future perspective

The Gates Foundation report also notes that, as a result of the pandemic, 31 million people have already fallen into extreme poverty for the first time compared to 2019.

Mark Suzman , executive director of the Gates Foundation , said that most rich countries, where there is higher vaccination coverage, could see “this year” a recovery in per capita income to pre-pandemic levels, according to CNBC .

By contrast, two-thirds of developing countries will remain below their 2019 indicators and some of them “will face many more years [of economic crisis] before returning to 2019 levels.”

He also highlighted that the pandemic has slowed progress towards gender equality, since women have been the most affected in the labor and social fields.

“13 million more jobs have been lost worldwide for women than for men,” Suzman said. “Women also bear the brunt of caregiving responsibilities in both rich and poor worlds.”

The report also found that the Covid-19 pandemic has caused a significant setback in routine childhood vaccination rateswidened the educational gap between rich and poor nations, and increased inequities in access to health services.

Finally, Bill Gates calls on world leaders to make the necessary investments to develop and manufacture long-term vaccines, as well as to improve public health infrastructure, particularly in low-income countries.

Cristiano Ronaldo scammed £250k by travel agent after trusting her with credit card pin

Cristiano Ronaldo scammed ?250k by travel agent after trusting her with credit card pin

A travel agent has been accused of cheating Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo out of nearly £250,000.

Jornal de Noticias exposed  the scandal about greedy Silva’s breach of the trust Cristiano placed in her by giving her his credit card details and pin codes.

The newspaper said the €288,000 she scammed him out of – £245,770 – corresponded to around 200 trips he never made between Portugal and other European countries as well as Europe and Africa and the US.

She reportedly carried out the fraud by getting clients to transfer cash for travel she arranged for them to her personal account instead of the business account of the travel agency she worked for.

She then billed those trips to the accounts of victims like Cristiano Ronaldo, who had given her a ‘virtual’ credit card and pin code, to “fill the hole” in her company’s accounts, the report in Jornal de Noticias said.

The newspaper reported she used the same tactic to rip off the likes of Jorge Mendes, his sports agency Gestifute, Nani and former Portsmouth and Everton footballer Manuel Fernandes.

The fraud cost Fernandes £2,440 and Gestifute £36,000. Silva’s firm Geostar is said to have repaid the fraud victims the money wrongly taken from them and she agreed to pay back monthly compensation to her old employers to avoid going to prison.

Cristiano was targeted between in a three-year period between February 2007 and July 2010 when he was playing for Manchester United first-time round and then Real Madrid following his record £80 million transfer to Spain.

The Portuguese footballer gave the Policia Judiciaria in Porto a statement on June 7 2011 according to Jornal de Noticias.

He is said to have entered the police station via a back door so his presence would go unnoticed.

Maria Silva is understood to have been quizzed by police in October 2013, declining to answer questions put to her by cops but making a full confession in court where she was found guilty of fraud and forgery. It was not made clear how her crimes were uncovered.

The 53-year-old from the northern Portuguese city of Vila Nova de Gaia was convicted of on January 10 2017 by a criminal court in Porto, Jornal de Noticias revealed.

Revealing Cristiano’s former Portugal teammate Simao Sabrosa was among clients who unwittingly transferred cash to her private account instead of a company account as part of her fraud, the paper added: “Afterwards the travel agent had to plug the hole in the firm’s accounts.

“She therefore began to bill those trips to Cristiano Ronaldo, who had an account at Geostar and for practical reasons, handed the agent a virtual credit card and pin code.

Boy, 15, gets USB cable stuck inside his pen!s after inserting it there to ‘measure how long it is’

A 15-year-old boy had to be rushed to the hospital after he inserted a USB cable into his penis and it got stuck.

The unidentified teenager, from London, ended up needing surgery after the cable knotted and got stuck inside him.

The boy made several attempts to remove it himself but this resulted in him urinating a large amount of blood, prompting his family to take him to A&E.

Doctors detailed the incident in the journal Urology Case Reports.

At the hospital he was taken to, staff also couldn’t pull out the cable using special tools due to the position of the knot, so the boy was urgently transferred to University College Hospital London for further treatment.

He asked to be examined without his mother present before confessing to staff that he inserted the cable to measure his penis out of sexual curiosity.

After an X-ray revealed the exact size and positions of the knot, the teen was sent to surgery.

Surgeons cut through the muscles surrounding the penis and scrotum and then severed and removed the knot.

Medics managed to extract the knot through the incision and then cut it free from the rest of the cable. The remaining two pieces of the cable were pulled out the opening of his penis once the knot was removed.

There were no complications in his recovery and he was discharged from the hospital the next day.

Follow-up scans two weeks later revealed no lasting damage but doctors noted the boy will need ongoing monitoring in the future.

Consultant andrologist, Dr Amr Raheem told Mail Online: “Although the surgery was successful and without immediate complications, he may later develop narrowing of the urethra which can give him problems when passing urine or predispose him to recurrent urinary tract infection.

“When you introduce anything inside your body that is not sterile, you can cause a tissue infection, infections can sometimes be serious especially in people with low immunity as in diabetics, a serious infection can lead to tissue necrosis or even sepsis.

“I believe it is becoming more common as everything is thanks to social media and in general the easier ways that misinformation can be spread.

“We certainly have seen an increase in these practices amongst patients that present with symptoms in our clinics.”

If you think the definition of Enjoyment, is to change ladies like Handker Chief, You will be the loser at the end – Clergyman Mike Bamiloye tells Men

Clergyman, Mike Bamiloye, has cautioned men against the habit of changing women they have affairs indiscriminately.

In a post shared on Facebook, Bamiloye stated that men who change women like handkerchiefs will be the loser in the end.

His post reads

”GET IT RIGHT FROM THE START…

Right from the Foundation of Samson, he had been falling in love with a wrong woman. The first woman he would ever fell in love with was the Philistine lady in the vineyard of Timnath, who was being guided, so to speak, by a young lion. (Judges 14) The marriage ended up in crisis and collapsed. Then, we read that he had affairs with the Harlot of Gaza. The last major crisis was the affair he had with Delilah of the Valley of Sorek.

Young Men of this Generation,

Don’t gamble or Casino with Women,

It is not a joking matter.

If you think the definition of Enjoyment, is to change ladies like HandkerChief,

You will be the loser at the end,

NO MAN HAS EVER WON THE GAME WITH WOMEN…..

…..Ask Samson

…..Ask Solomon

…..Ask Judah and Tamar

GET IT RIGHT IN THE PLACE OF MARRIAGE.”

YOUNG MAN, if you truly have a Vision and Mission to fulfill for God in your Generation,

If truly you want to fulfill Purpose and confirm Destiny,

WAITING VS WASTING

Many singles are quick to say they are waiting on God for a life partner, but SOME are actually WASTING, and they think they are WAITING.

What is the difference between WAITING and WASTING?

When God hasn’t directed you yet, hasn’t said anything, or no suitable suitor coming for no fault of yours, and you are single because of that and busy with your life, you’re WAITING.

But once God has said something, directed you, via any means, and you delay necessary action for whatever reason, or you’re idle (bury you talents and gifts) while waiting for a partner, you’re WASTING.

Why do singles WASTE?

IGNORANCE

Don’t let somebody’s (your Mentors or Pastors) testimony of how God led THEM make you ignore how God has chosen to lead YOU.

Not every Christian will be directed via an audible voice. “God hasn’t spoken”, know this and have Peace, and marry on time.

Some will be led by clear dreams/visions.

Others by a knowing,

God can lead and give you conviction through random, normal everyday circumstances and situations that bring you both together, even from a match making attempt by friends and family.

It doesn’t have to be spectacular to be divine. Stop waiting for an angel to appear to you.

The command is WATCH and PRAY

WATCH

First, is there compatibility of Faith, Purpose and Passions? Then also check their Fruits (character).

Then you PRAY.

Is there Peace when/after you pray?

And be sensitive to and expectant for God’s leading/reply IN your spirit as you pray.

 IDOL IN THE HEART

I remember a sister who had several dreams about a brother, but because she didn’t like his height, she naively misinterpreted the dreams. Cost her a Year of her life in another futile relationship before she now had sense.

Some will even hear God’s voice and say it is the Devil talking, all because they don’t like the brother, tomorrow they’ll say they are waiting on the Lord, waiting on which Lord? Lord Luggard!

As a Brother, Sister Jenipher with the big chest is the one you’re eyeing, whereas Sis Joyce with the humble chest keeps entering your mind anytime you pray, you’re now 37, you say you’re still WAITING on God, uncle you’re WAITING on Breast, continue WASTING.

IDLENESS

Waiting season shouldn’t be an idle season.

Use your waiting period to grow (spiritually, financially-hustling, in character, preparing for your future), because that growth you’re not engaging in may be the reason you’re still single.

Get busy (with purpose, kingdom, and career) while WAITING, lest you be found WASTING.

UNSERIOUSNESS

You’re waiting on God, and you’re not praying. No prayer life, no fasting life, no prayer partner, and no prayer meetings you attend.

Your prayer life is in coma, Bible study life is in the Intensive Care Unit, and you say you’re waiting on God, how? If waiting on God doesn’t make you become a vibrant Christian, what will?

PLAYING HARD TO GET.

God has spoken, you even know it, but you want to do small shakara for the brother, a whole 12 months is what you want to use to do shakara.

Congratulations, you’ve been transferred on loan from WAITING FC to WASTING FC. Ego will choke you.

FEAR

You like her, there’s plenty compatibility, you have prayed and there’s peace, but you don’t know how to approach her, you’re shy,

7 months later you are still beating around the bush, instead of shooting your shot, well done Sir, you’re the chairman of WASTING POLITICAL PARTY (WPP). She’ll soon invite you for her wedding.

Sex worker arrested after being caught red-handed kissing a 15-year-old boy

A commercial sex worker has been arrested for kissing a 15-year-old boy at his home in Luveve suburb, Zimbabwe.

24-year-old Fiona Murewa is a tenant at the 15-year-old boy’s family home, and was nabbed by the teen’s grandmother after being spotted in a compromising position with the minor.

Upon being queried by his grandmother, the boy said he was allegedly seduced by Murewa and fell for the trap. He also claimed that Murewa who would walk about in a revealing skimpy skirt when his grandmother is not home, kept pushing him to have sex with her.

The teen’s grandmother reported the matter to police, leading to Murewa’s arrest. Bulawayo deputy police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Nomalanga Msebele confirmed the arrest, adding that Murewa was charged with indecent assault when she appeared before Western Commonage resident magistrate Shepherd Mnjanja.

She said;

“I can confirm that we arrested a 24-year-old female for indecent assault. We would like to urge members of the community never to trust a relative or a tenant to the extent of leaving him or her with a child.”

Murewa was remanded in custody by Magistrate Mnjanja till September 20.

7 CRISIS CENTERS IN MARRIAGE AND HOW TO HANDLE THEM

Couples fight about so many things in marriage. While some are very weighty, some are trivial and can be silly. Call crisis centers in marriage are areas where the majority of couples do have misunderstandings or fights. According to marriage and family counsellor, Dr John Gottman, 69 per cent of marriage conflicts are never solved. Yes, 69 per cent!

This means couples often fight the same fight over and over again for about fifty years of marriage.

The majority of married couples tend to fight over the same seven things I will be mentioning here. I will open your eyes to them and teach you how to deal with them:

  1. MONEY

This tends to be the biggest crisis area in modern marriage. Couples fight about money over and over again. If there is enough money, couples will fight on how to spend it. If there is not enough money to spend, they will fight and blame each other for their poverty.

A poll of over two thousand British adults by legal firm Slater and Gordon found that money worries top the list of reasons why married couples split up, with one in five saying it was the biggest cause of marital strife.

WHAT TO DO

Learn how to make money, how to spend it, save it and how to invest it. Couples who learn to handle money early will have greater harmony in marriage. You are advised to take a course on money management in marriage to increase your financial intelligence.

  • SEX

This is another crisis centre in marriage. You need to work together to make your sex life an exciting one. If your sex life is bad, your marriage will suffer for it. It was Marabel Morgan, the author of Total Woman who said, “If marriage hit the rock, the rock is likely in the mattress.

WHAT TO DO

To make your marriage better, strive for sexual fulfilment. To have sexual fulfilment, start with knowing what sex is all about and connecting with each other. To connect, you must talk as lovers. It also involves talking about your sexual life.

Talk deeply and frankly about your sex life. Lack of sexual communication is a major killer of marriage. It encourages all manners of evil at home. Couples are too secretive and close-mouthed about their sex life. They see their lawyer and talk about their problems with the law. They see their mechanic and talk about the car engine problem. They see their doctor and talk about their health but will never talk about their sex problems when they visit their counsellor, not to talk of discussing it between themselves.

  • IN-LAWS AND EXTENDED FAMILY

Managing in-laws and extended family is very important to the success of any marriage. It is another major crisis centre in marriage.

WHAT TO DO

Make yourself one. Stand together and don’t ever allow in-laws to come between you. You see, third parties can never come to destroy your marriage unless one or both of you permit them.

  • WORK

Work and career is another cause of the crisis in most marriages. Learning how to balance work and healthy family life is a way to enjoy marriage.

WHAT TO DO

Talk about your work, business and career. Talk about areas where money is coming in for you and how to make it stronger. Talk about work-life balance. This is very important to get the best of finance in your home without hurting your marriage.

  • PARENTING

Agreeing on how to raise children could be very difficult for most modern couples. Learning how to agree in this area will help your marriage greatly.

WHAT TO DO

Sit down with your spouse to talk about how you were raised, what you hated growing up, what you want to see in your children, your parenting styles, expectations from your spouse about raising your children.

Then plan to work together on raising proper children. Your children should bring you together, not separate you.

  • OUTLOOK

Managing dressings, outlooks and agreeing on them is very important and a key to a successful marriage.

WHAT TO DO

Talk about your expectations about the outlook of your spouse. How you expect a wife or husband to look. Talk deeply about these and make a decision together.

  • HOUSE CHORES

Doing house chores, taking out the trash, cleaning and cooking can become a problem if it is not handled wisely.

WHAT TO DO

Don’t wait until you start to fight about this. Talk about it. What do you think are the roles of husbands and wives in marriage? What do you expect your spouse to do and not to do in your house? Decide who does what and make a decision together

Harvard-trained Nigerian educationist blames rising figure of out-of-school children partly on married couples who have no hobbies except “beer and sex”

Acclaimed Havard-trained leadership expert and educationist, Dr Alfred Oladapo, has opined that the rising figure of out-of-school children in Nigeria is partly because married couples do not have recreational activities to engage their minds except “beer and sex”.

Dr Oladapo, who featured as a guest on NigeriaInfo’s Hello Port Harcourt , on Wednesday, believes that among all the factors that contribute to this challenge, the activities of married couples cannot be overlooked.

“A lot of people have unwanted or children than they should have. Ask yourself one question, what recreation do a lot of people have in this country. A lot of married couples. The only recreation they have is rather beer or sex” he said.

Afghanistan’s girl’s football teams flee across the border to Pakistan wearing burqas

Members of Afghanistan’s national junior girls’ football team have fled across the border into Pakistan, officials said Wednesday September 15.

This comes a month after the Taliban swept back into power, with members of the Afghan Girls National Youth Football Team reportedly sent into hiding as they feared for their safety.

The girls who played for the under-14, under-16 and under-18 teams reportedly crossed the northern land border dressed in burqas, a campaigner said, before they later changed into headscarves.

Campaigners told the Independent, the female athletes were at ‘immediate risk’ due to their association with women’s football as reports surfaced of the Taliban searching hotels in an effort to track them down.

Afghanistan’s new rulers have indicated that women and girls will face restrictions in playing sport.

A senior Taliban official has told Australian media it was ‘not necessary’ for women to play. But on Tuesday, Bashir Ahmad Rustamzai, Afghanistan’s new director general for sports said top-level Taliban leaders were still deciding.

The group of junior players and their coaches and families had tried to escape the country last month but a devastating bomb attack at Kabul airport left them stranded, someone close to the team told AFP.

‘I received a request for their rescue from another England-based NGO, so I wrote to Prime Minister Imran Khan who issued clearance for them to land in Pakistan,’ said Sardar Naveed Haider, an ambassador of global development NGO Football for Peace, based in London.

Pakistan’s federal minister for information Fawad Chaudhry welcomed the women players in a tweet early Wednesday morning.

‘We welcome Afghanistan Women football team they arrived at Torkham Border from Afghanistan. The players were in possession of valid Afghanistan Passport, Pakistan visa and were received by Nouman Nadeem of PFF,’ Chaudhry tweeted.

Pakistan’s prime minister is a former international cricketing star and sports hero among Pakistanis.

US Lieutenant Colonel resigns over Biden’s ‘tyrannical’ vaccination mandate

A US Army Lieutenant Colonel has resigned and given up his pension after more than 19 years of service over President Joe Biden’s vaccine mandate, which he says is  ‘unethical, immoral and tyrannical’

Lt Col Paul Douglas Hague’s resignation letter was shared by his wife tweeted, who announced that the Army vet is ‘walking away from all he’s worked for and believed in since he was an ROTC kid’.

This comes after the Pentagon said last month that it will require service members to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

In the letter – which he wrote on August 23, the day after the Pentagon announced all active military were to get vaccinated immediately – Hague said he refused to ‘sit still and allow a serum to be injected into my flesh against my will and better judgement’.

He wrote: ‘It is impossible for this so-called “vaccine” to have been studied adequately to determine the long term effects.

‘It simply has not existed for enough time and any claim otherwise is blatantly ignorant and likely an outright lie driven by negligent political agenda.’

Aside from the vaccine mandate Hague, who is stationed at Fort Bragg in North Carolina, listed many other reasons for his resignation, including ‘an ideologically Marxist takeover of the military and United States government’ and a ‘complete lack of confidence in the presidential administration’.

‘We are watching the fall of liberty at this moment,’ he penned.

The father of seven went on to blame the Biden administration for the suicide bombings that took place in Kabul and resulted in the death of 13 service members, saying the president also ‘undoubtedly set our nation up for many more attacks both in Afghanistan and within our own borders’.

‘I cannot and will not contribute to the fall of this great nation and its people,’ Hague wrote, adding that he will ‘continue (to) uphold the constitution of the United States’ but can no longer do it while serving in the military as he believes ‘the military is currently being used to the contrary’.

Hague  also forfeited his ability to retire with a pension. He noted that while he ‘would like nothing more than to continue in the Army to reach my 20 years of active federal service and retire with my pension… I instead will join those who have served before me in pledging… to continue resisting the eternal and ever-mutable forms of oppression and tyranny’.

Hague’s wife Katie Phipps Hague told Fox News that her husband submitted the letter on August 30 and it has since been ‘sent up his chain of command’ and appears to be ‘going smoothly’.
